The strategy half of the Total War equation was practically lost. Rome was impressive for its time, but it left a legacy of mediocrity. Rome was a huge success in part because it was so gorgeous and atmospheric that nobody noticed the game didn't work. Medieval 2: Total War. Claim to Fame: Medieval again but like Rome this time I love siege's and its cool to watch and play, but every time I get a siege tower or a ladder I dont know how to use it on the wall. Which makes me a bit ticked off becaasue siege equpiment is necessary for siege attack. So all I need is a answer on how Do I Use My Siege Towers, Ladders, and Gate Rammer. Thanks. Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms is the official expansion to last year's award-winning Medieval II: Total War, presenting players with all-new territories to explore, troops to command, and enemies to conquer. MEDIEVAL II brings Total War’s compelling mix of massive real-time battles and intricate turn-based strategy to Android. Set across three continents during the turbulent Middle Ages, spectacular conflicts and scheming rivals line the path to power as the great kingdoms of the medieval world vie for supremacy. I still enjoy vanilla Medieval2 more so than I do post-shogun II total war titles. The newer games just don't do it for me. I'd play a short campaign on vanilla to get used to the mechanics and then try out whatever mods interest you. Either way Medieval 2 is still very much worth the money. 1. OH SNAP WE HAVE A FACE TO THE VOICE! And it's a first for none other than the great, the legendary, the unstoppable, Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms! BECOME A In the first Medieval: Total War the game would end once the turn limit was reached, which was about 400 turns or so, (Depending on which era you chose) it began around 1080 and ends in the early 1400s. I have not reached the end of the 225 turns myself so I'd go with what these guys say. The timeline for the long campaign is the year 1530 but I'd recommend trying Medieval II first though, as most totally new players to totl war would have trouble jumping straight into Shogun II. I agree, except for the last part. Shogun 2 was my first TW title, and it hooked me instantly. That's why it holds such a dear place in my heart, and will always be one of the best TW games in my opinion. If you can catch it on sale it's definitely worth it. It's definitely a different game compared to the Warhammer series. Just remember to get it on sale because its very often -75% off. Getting it for 60 dollars its like paying for a new release. It’s great, and if you like classical antiquity nothing beats it.

is total war medieval 2 worth it
