Got my Fenix 6x Sapphire 2 days ago and Heart Rate is not working. Called Customer Support to report the issue (and process a return/refund) but they said that the engineers are aware of the situation and it is a software issue. The rep said to wait until next week for a software update that they will roll out to fix this issue.

Good morning. I have experienced the same issues. I updated my max heart rate, but still ended up with very little anaerobic benefit or seen any zone 5 performances. Zone 5 is set at 90-100 percent of max heart rate and max heart rate was set at 175 bpm, which should put any effort over 157 bpm in the zone 5 area.
It is my understanding that the optical heart rate monitor does not work well when the muscles around the wrist are tensed (i.e. during strength training). I think this is just a limitation of the technology as it is unable to gauge the correct heart rate due to an increased amount of blood flow through the arm. However, I may be wrong.
hausii over 1 year ago. My Fenix 6 Pro is constantly overestimating my resting heart rate. I don't wear my watch during sleep and I understand that it will take the lowest reading when you do not move. But since a few weeks it got way worse. I always had lower readings around 50 when my resting HR was around 56 but since a few weeks the resting
Select the strength option, stop it when you are done at the gym and don't worry about hitting the lap button for sets. It will tell you what you want. Alternatively you could simply select the "cardio" option and again don't hit the lap button (I like to when I'm doing HIIT). firststate • 4 yr. ago.

I meet a "problem" with the fenix 6x. For 2 weeks, my cardio sensor works poorly. I usually train 10 sets of mattresses (carpet race widget) at 18kmh and until 2 weeks ago, my heart rate reached 190 bpm on the watch that was normally. But since then, during my 5 minutes warm up, I go up to 155-160 then my frequency oscillates between 120 and
Are there known problems with the Fenix 6 when connecting to external HRM through ANT+? My vivoactive 3 only connects to ANT+ external HRMs on an intermittent basis and I don't want to purchase a Fenix 6 if it has the same tendency. I have an Edge 520+ and it connects reliably while my watch does not. I'm very frustrated.
